Dawn Hilliker and Kadie
Dawn has been involved in SAR for years and is
one of our veteran members. Dawn's partner Kadie is her third SAR dog and together they are quickly
advancing through our area search program. |

Kayla Hilliker
Kayla served as a Junior Member of the team until
graduating high school, at which time she converted to an Associate Member as she began her first year of
college. |

Jill Holdstock and Winston
Jill makes her living as a medical technician and
came to K-9 ONE with her partner Winston to serve in our area search division. |

Kim Karr
Kim joined K-9 ONE as an Associate
Member to assist us with our field communications. Kim is the Deputy Director of the Kent County RACES
team and brings a wealth of IT and communications knowledge to the group. |

Pat Lamson and Tucker
Reserve Deputy and CERT trainer, Pat has been
involved in SAR since 2000. She and Tucker serve our Missing Persons Response Team as Human Remains
Detection Specialists in land, water, and historical work. She recently began working with another Lab mix
named Eli in this same field and hopes to have him mission ready by the end of the year. |

Isabella pioneered our Junior Member program
serving as victim, communications, support, and scent theory expert. |

Kay Rice and Jazz
Kay and Jazz have been doing disaster work since
2002. In addition to K-9 ONE, they also serve MUSAR and the Ohio Task Force. Together they head up
our USAR/Disaster division. |

Suzanne Ramos and Gila
Suz and Gila bring years of experience to K-9 ONE
and serve our Missing Persons Response Team, in the Area Search division. |

Craig Veldheer and Pepsi Craig
serves as a Paramedic and has been working with SAR dogs for the last few years. In addition to their
membership in MUSAR and the Ohio Task Force, he and his partner Pepsi also serve K-9 ONE as USAR/Disaster
Specialists. |

Kim Veldheer and Tigger
Kim began training her first K-9 partner in USAR
work. While progressing in that field she acquired Tigger and began working with her in Area Search.
She and Tigger are currently serving K-9 ONE as certified Area Search Specialists and also recently began
assisting in the development of Kent County's Search and Rescue K-9 Unit.

Chris Moe-Herlick and Abby
Chris left her career as a vet tech and plunged
full time into dog training as she now owns and operates Wagg'n Tails Dog Training. She and her Shepherd
partner Abby are training to become part of our Area Search team. |

Cathy joined K-9 ONE as an Associate Member to
assist us in marketing and to lend a hand in our business ventures. |

Dr. Hank Herlick, DDS
Hank joined K-9 ONE as an Associate Member to
assist us in our training and to support Chris and Abby in the northern Michigan wilderness. |

Falon Gray and Mason
Falon, one of our newest handlers is a Med Tech student in her last
year of college. She and her K-9 partner Mason are working toward their certification as an area search
team.

Ginger Pietka and Kuma
Ginger joined K-9 ONE in 2008, and completed her field support certification. Kuma, her long-haired German Shepherd, is now being trained in our area search program.

Leah Nichols and Iris
Leah and her partner, Iris, started their SAR career with the California Rescue Dog Association (CARDA). Having recently moved to Ann Arbor to accept a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Michigan they became members of K-9 ONE, where they now serve in our area search division.

Kym Roldan and Brandy
Kym joined K-9 One in the summer of 2009 and completed her field support requirements in record time. She is now working toward advancement through the program with her 15 month old Yellow Lab, Brandy, in the Human Remains Detection division. Kym also serves as an Associate Member of Kent County Search and Rescue.
